On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responding to the general discussion on the budget of 2017-18 in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council said that the state government respects all religions.

Yogi targeting the people alleging the government of favoring the Hindus said that all-round development is UP governments priority. The government is working in the interest and development of everyone without focusing on religion, class or caste.

Yogi’s love for Hinduism, cow and Ram is not hidden from anyone. Presenting his view points, he said that people teasing by the name of Ram should take lessons from Indonesia. Despite being the world’s largest Muslim country, Indonesia is proud of the traditions of Ram.

Giving details of the work done in Ayodhya, he said that UP Government has renovated the soils that have been neglected in Ayodhya so far and are further going to work towards building a modern museum associated with Lord Rama. He also expressed his disappointment with those who disrespected Ram saying that Ram’s name is the path of salvation for everyone. He further added that when a person dies and is on his last journey for the cremation even that time ‘Ram Nam Satya hai’ (Ram’s name is the ultimate truth)is chanted. Yogi said that the government has decided to build a 4 lane road which will be linking Ayodhya with Sitamarhi.

Targeting the Samajwadi Party Yogi said that he feels sorry for those people who speak badly of Lord Ram. He further said that these are the people who oppose their own civilization and culture in the greed of power. He said that after coming to Ayodhya, the world will realize the wonderful miracles of Lord Rama. Attacking the Samajwadi party directly he said that the party demands votes in the name of Ram Manohar Lohia, but perhaps forgets that his name is also associated with Ram.

Concluding his say Yogi said that any country is identified with its history and cultural development, today the country needs nationalism, not socialism and equality is a sign of its growth. He added ‘Ram Rajya is not related to Hindutva but to the overall progress and prosperity. People will have to change their concept of ‘Ram Rajya’.
