Sometimes, you can only dream of getting out in drizzles, enjoy the weather and then add more to the enjoyment by getting into a Mexican restaurant to enjoy some of the awesome spicy Mexican dishes (Mexican food is known for the various kind of chilies, and just yesterday, I was told by the Chef that Mexican Cuisine uses over 350 kinds of chilies).
Something similar took place with me last evening. However, the dinner plan was made a couple of days ago, but it surely added to the excitement when I found it drizzling right after getting out of the house.
UB City, a place which never fails to excite anyone and everyone staying in Bangalore, was the destination and once we reached at the place, it was again a delight to enjoy the awesome lighting under the drizzles. Well, It was almost the time for which we had made the reservation and we thought to put a break onto the enjoyment under the sky and get into the newly opened Mexican Restaurant at UB City, Sanchos.
A fun place to be at, with pretty cool ambiance and a bar right at the entrance, which can just get better with the cool crowd at UB City. This was the first impression I got about the place, which looks a good one for the casual hangouts as well for a planned dinner with family or friends.
The first things which started out visit at Sanchos was Caldo De Pollo, an American style soup with whole chicken and vegetables like potato, cabbage etc.
One of the Mexican Dishes, which has become a part of our day today life is Nachos and the same thing started our dinner at Sanchos. Fiesta Nachos along with freshly prepared cheese and sauce was a true delight to start with. Along side that, we had specially prepared corn chips which were served with salsa.
A few of the other things served included Molletito Chorizo, Habanero Chicken, Taquito Fish (the best thing according to me, you should surely try this on your next visit to Sanchos), Quesadilla Chicken, Talla Fish Taquilla, Jumbo Prawns, Lamb Barbacoa, Tres Leches and Churros.
I have always been a Mexican fan and for sure, the dishes out there gave me another reason to do that. Sanchos is fairly a new restaurant which is still in process of making a name out there to the Bangalore public, but the quality and taste of food can give you a lot of reasons to try it out again.
