Instagram owned Facebook has announced that now the users can also use the feature of pinned comments. In May, the company started with the testing and has a strong belief that this feature boosts up positive interactions with the platform.
As per one of the official post, Instagram stated that the features allows users to set a particular tone for their respective personal account and can engage with the community by only selecting a few of the comments on the top of the feed in their posts.
The company announced on Twitter. With the help of this features users now will be able to pin three comments on any of their posts to the top of the thread. This new feature will also allow the author of the post to gain control over the tone of the comments they would receive. It will play a major role in keeping the negative and abusive responses at the bottom of the page.
For pinning a comment user needs to swipe left and then go through the options for reporting, deleting, or repaying. A pushpin can be noticed on the left which will offer you to pin the comments.
Instagram has also launched its Reel feature, which is very much similar to TikTok. 15 seconds video can be made and shared on Instagram. Users can also add music to it and it can be saved.
