Tiktok has become very popular because is people can create and share short videos on this platform. The competition is increasing for this platform because Instagram recently announced that it is adding a new feature “Reels”, that is similar to Tiktok. So, to get one step ahead of Instagram, Tiktok is testing a new feature. Now Tiktokers can add links to other websites in their bio.

While TikTok has accumulated more than 1 billion users worldwide, influencers currently don’t find it as profitable as sites like YouTube, where influencers can make ad revenue from posts. With this new feature, Influencers can add a direct link to products in their bio. The new feature will also users add links of e-commerce sites directly into uploaded videos.

A spokesperson from tiktok told Business Insider the platform is “always experimenting with new ways to improve the app experience for our users. Ultimately, we’re focused on ways to inspire creativity, bring joy, and add value to our community.”

While the biggest competitor of Tiktok, Instagram already has the same feature, it recently started to hide likes counts to stop bot likes. The decision faced backlash from the Influencers all around the globe. If the feature is implemented widely, it could make the video-sharing app far more profitable for influencers. The company is testing the new feature in the US with its beta program.

  1. I using of for my twitter and tiktok and… link bio, I made a comparison between My-Official and a number of link bio sites, I think My-Official have more free features.
    I don’t know, maybe I was wrong, but I’m satisfied
