Twitter is a great source of information. You can get the latest news of your interest. But getting the information of specific interest can be a little hard because you will have to know the exact hashtag or twitter account of that trend.
But all of this is about to change. Twitter rolled out a new feature “Topics” on 13th November. This feature will let you personalize your twitter account with your interests. That means you can use Twitter Topics to follow the subjects you care about most. You just have to search your favorite topic on twitter and follow it.
Twitter wrote in their official blog “In the coming months, you’ll be able to follow conversations about a topic similar to how you’d follow an account with one single tap. Topic suggestions will appear in your timeline and in search based on what you tend to look for and already follow on Twitter.
“It can be overwhelming to discover new and interesting conversations about what you like because there are so many taking place at once,” Twitter wrote in a press release on November 11 “Often, you just want to see the best Tweets about what’s happening on the things that matter to you.”
This feature is available for iOS for now and it will soon be available on Android.
