Well, Whatsapp is facing some serious competition from Telegram in India as users find telegram really very good to use. Whatsapp is coming with a feature that automatically deletes the messages in your chat after a particular amount of time.

The time can be set by the user itself. WhatsApp is likely to give users the option to auto-delete messages in chat after 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, and 1 year. The default period is set to one week.

In group chats, only the admins have the privilege to set the time for deleting messages.

This is a very interesting feature for users. It clears the clutter of your chats as you don’t need to manually delete them.

It is not known yet that when this feature will officially roll out. But it surely has made people very excited and now they are highly anticipating it to be launched soon.

According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp will call the feature “Expiring messages.” In earlier Android beta updates, it was labeled as “Delete messages”. The latest version 2.20.197.4 shows users can enable the expiring messages under the Settings. The feature will allow users to auto-delete messages in a chat after seven days.

Along with this Whatsapp is also working on the mute forever feature. It would be a great addition to so many users. Multi-device support is also one of the features Whatsapp is going to come up with.

So many new features have seen a wave of happiness among the Whatsapp users all over the world. The addition of reverse search

has also been a great addition to verify the legitimacy of the forwarded message.

You can also expect WhatsApp to soon roll out its payment service in India.
