WhatsApp is updating its policies soon. Various platforms update their policies in accordance with the current safety and security requirements. The new policies will give the user two options after the policies are updated. The user can accept the policies or else they won’t get access to the instant messaging platform.

WABetaInfo, a website which tracks new features and updates on WhatsApp’s beta version, says that WhatsApp will update its policies on 8th February 2021. The new report shared a screenshot of the page where WhatsApp has shared a complete page of its new terms and conditions.

The report says that updated Terms of Service will be effective from 8th February 2021. Still, the date is tentative. If a user is not willing to agree to the terms, they can go to Settings and delete the WhatsApp account from within the settings. The updated terms will be announced by WhatsApp in the upcoming few weeks.

The report shares a new feature which might soon make it stable to build of the app. The company is expected to start corresponding with users from within the application. But the correspondence won’t happen in the form of WhatsApp chat. Instead, going through the screenshots shared by WABetaInfo, the company will communicate in the form of pop-ups that may redirect users to a website which will relay complete information to the user.
