WhatsApp is working at its best to ensure users get the best multiple device service. One key feature is syncing all chats across the devices which you are using.

When this feature rolls out you would be able to use WhatsApp on four different devices at the same time. For now, you could use it only on one single device.

“When the user wants to use WhatsApp on a second device, there is the need to copy the chat history. In this case, WhatsApp always requires a Wi-Fi connection, because it may use a large amount of your data plan,” said the report.

Any message will be delivered to all your family devices, so your chat history is going to be synced across platforms, and when you use or remove a device, your encryption key changes. When the encryption key changes all your active chats are notified as you can see below.

With this feature, you will be able to sync your chat history from one Android device to another or from your Android device to WhatsApp Desktop. iOS to PC is also possible.

The ability to transfer from Android to iOS is not here yet. WhatsApp are working to provide this feature. Android to iOS sync will be available in future for sure.

People using the iPad will soon get their own WhatsApp app. Till now they had to be happy with the web version of WhatsApp. iPad app is going to release after this multiple-device feature is activated and you will soon be able to use WhatsApp on your iPhone and the iPad at the same time.

WhatsApp is coming out with some really good features. All the features were demanded by the users for a long time. The ability to mute forever, reverse search the forwarded messages and the very interesting self destructing messages are the three new features. Also, the addition of Messenger rooms to WhatsApp is also a good move.
