Google India first

Google in May 2019 has given us a glimpse of the two apps that will get built-in Incognito mode. Google Maps and Search are the two most-used apps. Now Google is officially rolling it out so you can keep your activity and search data off your Google account. The feature will be accessible from the profile menu inside the app.

Some newly added Privacy Features by Google are:

Apart from this, Google is adding several privacy controls to You Tube such as auto-delete which will delete all locations, history, and app activity data. You can set specific time periods ranging from 3 to 18 months after which the YouTube app will automatically delete their data. This feature is accessible from the My Activity menu inside the app.

Google Assistant is also getting some privacy control features that will allow you to delete up to a week’s worth of voice command data directly within the Assistant app. For larger chunks of data, you will have to manually delete it from within the account settings menu.

The new Password Checkup is added as a privacy control feature which will evaluate your password strength, shows if any of those passwords have been compromised and suggests which ones could be strengthened. This feature is live on both desktop and mobile.
