The new update of Microsoft Outlook on Android now supports the 2-way sync between Google Calendar and other calendars. According to a recent report of Android Police, the feature has started rolling out for users through an update on Play Store and supports famous calendar apps like Google Calendar and Samsung Calendar.

The new 2-way calendar sync of Microsoft Outlook syncs all the events of the user from calendar apps to one place. The changelog of the Google Play store says that if users want to sync events between Outlook and other calendars on their Android device, the Outlook for Android supports 2-way calendar sync for Microsoft 365, Office 365 and accounts at Outlook.com. Events made in other calendar apps like Samsung Calendar, Google Calendar, etc can be now viewed and edited from Outlook mobile and vice versa.

The changelog mentions Samsung Calendar and Google Calendar but the new feature of Microsoft Outlook might work with other calendar apps. Because syncing is bi-directorial, the events made on Outlook will be saved on other calendar apps if used. Changes made to the saved events will get synced among all connected app, and it won’t matter which app the users chooses to make the edits.

Users of Microsoft 365, Office 365 and Outlook.com account can try the new 2-way calendar sync by updating to the latest version of Microsoft Outlook from Play Store. If the update is not yet available, users can sideload the APK from APKMirror.
