TikTok

TikTok is one of the most downloaded applications on the Google Play Store. Its users have reached over 1.5 billion. They are always adding some features for creators. Recently they started testing the “Add links in bio” feature for influencers.   Now after ruling the short videos category, TikTok is planning to increase its business. According to a report, TikTok’s parent company Beijing ByteDance Technology Co Ltd is planning to launch its own music service.

After its launch, ByteDance will go head-to-head with Spotify and Apple in the music streaming market.  A report from Financial Times suggests, ByteDance is in talks with some of the big music labels: Universal Music, Sony Music, and Warner Music – for global licensing deals to include their songs on its new music subscription service.

ByteDance dance is planning to launch its Music service next month. It is aiming to launch the service in emerging markets such as India, Indonesia, and Brazil, before a future opening in the United States. Along with songs, this app will offer short video clips for listeners so that they can search through and synch to songs as they listen.

The company has not revealed the name or the price for the service, but according to reports, it will be less than $10.
