After the ODI sweep, England looks to repeat in T20Is with one win away from a whitewash.
The West Indies tour of England started on May 29th, and it included three ODIs and three T20Is.
The England team demonstrated complete dominance in the ODI series from the very first match.
In the first match, they won by 238 runs, and then in the next two they won by 3 and then in the third by 7 wickets.
They won the ODI series by whitewashing them and then started the T20I series.
Then the T20I series started, and they began with a 21-run victory.
In the second match, they played outstanding cricket and won by four wickets.
The third T20I is pending, and they will be looking forward to winning the match and whitewashing the T20I series as well.
Match Details
The second match was played in Bristol, and England won the toss and elected to field first.
West Indies Innings
Evin Lewis and Johnson Charles opened the innings, and on the first ball, Evin lost his wicket to Wood.
Shai Hope came to bat and started to form an important partnership with Johnson and took forward the innings.
Rashid broke their partnership by taking the wicket of Shai, and soon Johnson also lost his wicket.
Then, in the end, Rovman and Jason played the ending knocks and took the total to 196 for the loss of six wickets.
England Innings
Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett opened the innings, but soon Jamie lost his wicket to Holder.
Jos Buttler came in, and with Ben added, showed great power hitting, adding quick runs to the total.
After that, Harry, Jacob, and Tom came to bat and also added quick runs, leading the English team towards victory.
In the end, Tom and Brydon played the ending knocks, and England won the match by four wickets and nine balls to spare.
Now the English team has won the first two T20I matches and will be looking forward to winning the third one as well, which will be played tomorrow, and a clean sweep of the West Indies team in the T20I series as well.
