Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh will play his 300th ODI on Thursday against Bangladesh. He has seen many ups and downs, contributed a lot to Indian Cricket and is truly a legendary player. When asked in a press conference that if he has any regret regarding his performance on his 300th game, Yuvraj answered, “Sir zindagi bach gayi humari, woh sabse badi baat hain (I am alive and that is the biggest thing for me).”

Yuvraj was making it clear that he doesn’t have any regrets and will play till next World Cup said, “I don’t want to talk about my regrets when I am in a good zone. I am playing well and would continue for a few more years. As long as I am performing, I would like to play.”

He also mentioned that to play for India is easy but to play consistently is difficult and one requires strong determination for that. He feels that his ‘never give up’ attitude is responsible for his long journey.

On his comeback in the Indian team after beating cancer, Yuvraj said, “I have seen ups and downs. I am proud of myself that I have come through and still managed to get through to 300 games. At one stage, I was thinking whether or not I will play again, but here I am.”
