Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans played against each other in match number 51 of IPL 2022 on 6th May.

After winning their last match Mumbai Indians will be looking for another win despite getting out of the Playoffs race they will be looking for a win, whereas after losing their last match Gujarat Titans will be looking for a win.

Gujarat Titans won the toss and elected to bowl first and called the Indians to bat and set up a score. It was time for Mumbai to score runs and put a high total against the Titans. The openers started great Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, whose form wasn’t seen great this year were seen back in form as some good shots by both of them the fours, sixes by them, and the amazing partnership of 74 runs gave them a great start. Until Rashid Khan took the wicket of Rohit Sharma.

After that, there was some frequent fall of wickets during the recent over, and Mumbai was seen struggling again to score runs.

While they were struggling Tim David took the charge, his outstanding batting performance of him and the knock of 44 runs in just 21 balls and the mind-blowing sixes made their team achieve a total of 177 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

Now it was time for the Second Innings, Titans to chase down the runs scored by the Indians. As they started to bat the openers of Gujarat gave them a beautiful start Wriddhiman Shah and Shubham Gill scored individually fifty runs and built a partnership of 106 runs.

As there was a great batting performance by the Titans side their openers were looking good, Murugan Ashwin in his over, took the wicket of both of them and pushed them back in the game.

Still, the game was in the hands of Gujarat, they lost the match in the two runouts in the form of Hardik Pandya and Rahul Tewatia. The great batsmen of their team.

In the end, the dream over by Daniel Sams saving runs in the last over made Mumbai win the game by 5 runs. At last, Tim David was chosen as the Man Of The Match for his knock of 44 runs in just 21 balls.
