Indian Golfer Anirban Lahiri finished at his career best ranking, tied 2nd at the PGA tour in Dublin. He shot one of his best one of his best round in his PGA career with a bogey free seven-under 65.

His performance got better with each progressing round, and he shot scores of 75, 70, 68 and 60. As a result, his rank also got better with each score from tied 63rd to tied 40th to tied 27th to finally tied second at 10-under-278.

After shooting his best rounds ever, Lahiri had to wait for about three hours to see if anyone can couls beat his clubhouse target of 10-under. However, in the end, Jason Dufner found a second wind on the back nine and won by three, resulting in the tied second rank of Lahiri.

“It feels great to have my best at Mr Nicklaus’ event. He has been very kind to Ipsa and me ever since we met him. Being a member at the Bears and having the opportunity to speak to him and get his advice is really special,” Lahiri told PTI.

Anirban got his career best USD 765,600 , and also made him eligible to participate in the 2018 PGA Tour, as well as the season-ending FedEx Cup play-offs.
