Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar injured an England player during a practice session at Lord’s on Wednesday. English batsman, Jonny Bairstow was hit o n the foot by a yorker bowled by Arjun. Bairstow came out of the nets just after facing one bowl.
His left foot was hurting a lot and was kept under compression unit for some time. For once, it became scary for the cricketer as well as for the whole team as an injury would mean his dismissal from the upcoming Test match against South Africa. Fortunately, the injury wasn’t serious enough to make Bairstow miss his match.
This is not the first time Arjun has been seen training with the English cricket team since the family has a home near the Lord’s Cricket ground. He is often spotted at the venue. Last year, he also made a place in Under-16 West Zone squad for an inter-zonal tournament.
