Australia leads the three ODI series by 2-0.

The West Indies is on the tour of Australia, which includes test matches, ODI matches, and T-20I matches.

The test series was drawn for the first time when the West Indies won against Australia in Brisbane.

Before the West Indies, India was the only nation to beat Australia in Brisbane.

Shamar Joseph’s outstanding bowling of seven wickets made the West Indies break their losing streak.

After the test series, the ODI series started, as the first match was played on February 2nd.

Australia made an easy win in that match, as they won by eight wickets.

Match Details

The second match was played on February 4th in Sydney.

The West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Australia Innings

Jake Fraser-McGurk and Josh Inglis opened the innings for Australia.

Alzarri Joseph didn’t let them settle, as he took the wicket of Jake in the first over.

Coming back to bowl his second over, he took the wicket of Josh.

They lost two quick wickets as Smith and Cameron Green started to handle the situation.

It wasn’t long before Smith also lost his wicket, and later Cameron Green also lost his wicket.

Matthew Short and Sean Abbott started to handle the inning and score some runs.

The knock of 41 runs by Matthew was taking Australia to a respectable score.

By the end, a knock of 69 runs by Sean took Australia to a total of 258/9.

Gudakesh Motie took three wickets, whereas Alzarri Joseph and Romario Shepherd took two wickets each.

West Indies Innings

Alick Athanaze and Justin Greaves opened the innings for the West Indies.

The Australian bowlers didn’t let them settle, as they started to take wickets from the start.

One by one, in short intervals of time, they were taking wickets.

Keacy Carty, in between, tried to handle the situation and score some runs by knocking in 40 runs.

He also wasn’t able to score big runs, as all the West Indies batsmen lost their wickets at a score of 175 runs.

Josh Hazelwood and Sean Abbott took three wickets each, while Will Sutherland took two wickets.

Australia won the match by 83 runs, as they had already won the series as well.
