After the tour of New Zealand, India is all set for the next tour of Bangladesh.

The main players of the team, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been added back to the squad.

Kuldeep Sen, on the other hand, is set to make his international ODI debut.

India is there for three ODIs and two test matches.

Match Details

The first ODI was played on December 4th at Mirpur.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first.

India Innings

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan opened the innings for India.

They both gave the team a slow start.

Shikhar lost his wicket soon as he was bowled by Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

One by one, all the Indian batsmen were going back to the pavilion as they were not able to score runs.

KL Rahul, who was standing in the middle, kept going despite the loss of wickets at the other end.

He quickly reached his half-century mark and kept going.

His knock of 73 runs took India to a total of 186 runs.

Shakib Al Hasan took a haul of five wickets, whereas Ebadot Hossain took four wickets.

Bangladesh Innings

Najmul Hossain Shanto and Litton Das opened the innings for Bangladesh.

Deepak Chahar, charging from the first ball itself, took the wicket of Najmul on the first ball.

After the first wicket, the Bangladesh team was in trouble.

The wickets kept going for a short period.

Litton, standing in between, was adding valuable runs to the total.

His inning of 41 runs also came to an end, although he brought the match close.

Every Indian bowler was charging and taking wickets to win the game.

Bangladesh was at a total of 136 for the loss of nine wickets.

The match was in India’s hands, as they needed just a single wicket to win the match.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, needed 51 runs to win the match.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz, along with Mustafizur Rahman, stood in the middle.

They both refused to let their wickets fall, and gradually, with some great shots, they reached the total.

Mohammad Siraj took three wickets, and Kuldeep and Washington Sundar took two wickets.

Mehidy was chosen as the Player of the Match for his match-winning knock and taking a wicket.
