After losing the first two matches against India and Zimbabwe, Pakistan finally won against the Netherlands.

Bangladesh, after losing against South Africa by a massive margin of 104 runs, registered their second win against Zimbabwe.

Pakistan v/s the Netherlands

The Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat first.

Stephan Myburgh and Max O’Dowd opened the innings for the Netherlands.

The pace attack of Pakistan is well known by everyone as they have the best pace attack in the World Cup.

The pacers are well known for taking wickets, as they started to take wickets from the third over itself.

From the third over, the bowlers kept on taking back-to-back wickets.

Every bowler except Mohammad Nawaz took wickets.

Mohammad Wasim took two back-to-back wickets and was on a hat-trick too.

They stopped the Netherlands at a low score of 91 runs.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan opened the innings for Pakistan.

Babar was disappointed again and lost his wicket soon.

Rizwan’s knock of 49 runs took them to victory as they won the match by six runs.

Bangladesh v/s Zimbabwe

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Najmul Hossain, Shanto, and Soumya Sarkar opened the innings for Bangladesh.

Soumya was trying to flick and get an edge as it was taken by Chakabva.

Najmul kept on going from one side despite the wickets from the other side.

He soon completed his half-century and added valuable runs to the total.

His knock of 71 runs made Bangladesh reach a total of 150/7.

For Zimbabwe, Madhevere and Craig Ervine opened the innings.

The openers weren’t able to give a great start as they lost their first wicket in the first over itself.

Since then, they kept on losing wickets on one hand and Sean Williams kept on going on the other.

Sean’s knock of 64 runs brought Zimbabwe close to victory when he got run out.

In the last over, 15 runs were needed in six balls.

Mosaddek Hossain took a wicket in the second ball itself.

In the next two balls, a six and a four came, which brought Zimbabwe back into the game.

Bangladesh won the match by three runs thanks to two wickets in the next over.
