After losing the ODI series by 2-1, Bangladesh won the T20I series by 3-0 against England.

First Match

The first match was played at Chattogram on March 9th.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first.

England openers Phil Salt and Jos Buttler gave an outstanding start to their team.

Jos even completed his half-century while Phil lost his wicket to Nasum Ahmed.

After the wicket of Phil, none of the batsmen could score many runs, as England’s innings ended at the score of 156/6.

In return, Bangladesh openers gave a slow start to their team.

The openers soon lost their wickets, but the middle order kept them alive in the game.

The middle order and the knock by Shanto of 51 runs made Bangladesh win the match by six wickets.

Second Match

The second match was at Mirpur on 12th March. Bangladesh won the toss and again elected to field first.

The openers could not give a start to the England team that it needed.

All the English batsmen failed to score big runs in front of the Bangladesh bowlers.

Bangladesh bowlers took all their wickets at a score of 117.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz took four wickets in limiting the total of England.

In return, the knock by Najmul Hossain Shanto of 46 not-out runs made the Bangladesh team win the match.

The Bangladesh team won the match by four wickets and took the lead in the tri-series by 2-0.

Third Match

The third match was on March 14. England won the toss and elected to field first.

Litton Das and Rony Talukdar gave an outstanding start to their team.

As the match continued, Litton completed his half-century when Rony lost his wicket to Adil Rashid.

The knock by Litton of 76 runs and Shanto of 47 runs took the Bangladesh team to a score of 158/2.

Dawid Malan and Phil Salt opened the Innings for England.

Phil lost his wicket in the first over to Tanvir Islam.

Dawid soon even completed his half-century as even Jos played an outstanding knock.

But they both fell short of making England win the match. Bangladesh won the match by 16 runs.

By winning the last T20I they secured the series win by 3-0.
