virat Kohli

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli along with the team has been strictly ordered by Board for Control of Cricket in India(BCCI) to discontinue their job at private sectors. Sources reveal that Virat Kohli is holding the post of a manager at Oil and Natural GAs Corporation Ltd. However, the BCCI doesn’t want him to continue this job anymore.

Indian cricket fraternity has been talking about conflict of interest for quite some time now. Earlier, former players like Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and many more have come under the BCCI’s check. And now it seems that the players of the Indian Cricket team will face the same fate as them.

Apart from Kohli, other players like Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara also hold jobs in private sector. Virat Kohli has played many matches for ONGC just like many cricketers from Delhi and everyone who plays for them is offered a job there. Cricketers like Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have also held honorary posts in the company. However, Committee of Administrators, who has ordered the players to leave the jobs are ready to offer them another contract.
