BCCI: According to new ICC FUTURE TOURS PROGRAM (FTP) Australia will be welcomed by the Indian Team to play a 3 match series in 2020. The series will begin from the last week of January.

According to some reports, CRICKET AUSTRALIA (CA) requested BCCI to shift the series further but BCCI refused the call. Now Australia has been forced to drop home Series against New Zealand. According to their schedule, the series will be started after the Sydney test.

Speaking with Spokesmen New Zealand Cricket Board said  “We’re quite relaxed about it and confident a contingency can be arranged,”

It is to be believed that the home series of Australia against New Zealand will be started after the Sydney Test. And moreover, Cricket Australia was planning to play ODIs with New Zealand. But now to manage India Tour they will now try to play At least 2 ODIs with New Zealand and then travel to India for the 3 match series.

We have been working hard to rejig the schedule to fit a change in dates for the two ODI series, at home with New Zealand and away with India, on the back end of the Sydney test but there are necessary trade-offs,” Cricket Australia Spokesperson said.

He also added that Australia is also working on their fixtures so as to maintain the honor and commitments with the overseas Board.

The tour of India must be schedule seeing that during that time the domestic t20 league of Australia BBL also run side by side. CA Chief Executive, Kevin Roberts must in a spot of bother as some veteran players of Australia such as Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, and David Warner will have to miss the latter part of the tournament.

This will also affect the broadcasting of the matches. As people will watch the international series instead of BBL tournament. CA Chief Executive Kevin must be in a dilemma as something has to suffer at that time.

The exact dates of the series are yet to announce. There is no official verdict from both the boards regarding this.
