Bhuvenshwar Kumar wins Player of the Match after a wait of seven long years.

He won the Player of the Match award for his outstanding bowling performance of 3/41.

With the help of his bowling, Sunrisers Hyderabad also won the match by one run.

Match Details 

The 50th match of the IPL was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) have won the last four consecutive matches and will be looking to win this and secure a place in the playoffs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) lost the two matches and will look for a win.

SRH won the toss and elected to bat first.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Innings 

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma opened the innings for SRH.

They both started slow and were trying to form a partnership as Avesh Khan took the wicket of Abhishek.

In the next over, Anmolpreet Singh also lost his wicket to Sandeep Sharma.

Nitish Kumar Reddy came in to bat as he and Travis started to handle the situation.

They were forming a good partnership, as they had also completed their half-centuries.

Avesh Khan didn’t let them convert the partnership into a big total as he bowled Travis.

Heinrich Klaasen came in to bat and he started to hit great shots.

Nitish’s 76-run innings and the knocks by other batsmen resulted in a total score of 201/3.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) Innings 

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler opened the innings for RR.

Bhuvenshwar Kumar didn’t let them settle as he took the wickets of Jos and Sanju Samson in the first over.

Riyan Parag came into bat, as he and Yashasvi handled the innings.

They both made a good partnership and also completed their half-centuries.

They were both making the game one-sided as T. Natarajan bowled Yashasvi.

In the next over, Pat Cummins took the wicket of Riyan.

One by one, RR started to lose wickets as SRH was making a comeback.

In the last ball, RR needed two runs from one ball as Bhuvenshwar took the wicket of Rovam in the last ball.

With his wicket, he helped SRH win the match by one run.
