Blue Storms returns: Mumbai Indians make it two in two and start to regain their victory streak again.

After losing two continuous matches and four matches in total, Mumbai Indians strike back in the tournament by winning two continuous matches.

In the last match, the Delhi Capitals were the best team and had not been beaten till then in the tournament, but they did it.

And then they first stopped the great batting lineup of SRH at a low total and then chased down the total and got their second victory.

Match Details

The 33rd match of the tournament was all set to be played at Wankhede Stadium.

Rohit Sharma will be playing for the first time after getting a stand named after him.

Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Innings

Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head opened the innings. On the first ball of the innings, Will dropped the catch of Abhishek.

They both started to form a partnership and build a good total slowly.

Hardik Pandya didn’t let that happen, as he gave them their first breakthrough in the form of Abhishek.

In the next over, Will Jacks took the wicket of Ishan, and then in his next over, he took the wicket of Travis.

With the two continuous wickets, SRH batting was pushed back. Heinrich and Aniket, in the end, started to add runs.

Jasprit Bumrah didn’t let them go for long and bowled Heinrich.

The contributions by everyone took them to a total of 166 runs for the loss of five wickets.

Mumbai Indians Innings

Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma opened the innings and started to hit boundaries.

Rohit smashed great sixes but then lost his wicket to Pat Cummins.

Will Jacks came in to bat; he and Suryakumar added runs to the total and took MI close to victory.

Pat’s bowling tremendously took both of their wickets and then Tilak and Hardik took MI towards an easy victory.

With this victory, MI bounced back in the tournament, and Will Jacks was chosen as the Player of the Match.
