CK Vineeth

Indian Super League (ISL) franchise, Kerela Blasters have made changes in their team this season. They have decided to sign up prominent footballer CK Vineeth for the upcoming season. It is sure that the two-time runners-up are leaving no chance to win Indian Super League this season.

CK Vinneth, who previously played for Bengaluru FC thanked everyone by posting an emotional message on Facebook. The post said, “To the club, every high and every low the dressing room in Goa, Bengaluru and Cuttack, the tears in Doha and on the touchline on that rainy night in May 2015: Every moment spent as a Blue was one that changed me as a player and as a person. For this, forever I’ll be grateful. Wherever I go, there is a part of me that bleeds Blue.”

It is clear from the message that it must not have been easy for Vineeth to leave his old team.

On the other hand, one of Kerela’s best midfielders, Mehtab Hossain has decided to leave the team and enter the draft pool. Earlier, he was expected to sign a contract with Tuskers but later changed his mind. Hossain said, “Yes, it is true that Kerala Blasters had contacted me and I had spoken to the owners. But, I chose not to give it another go and instead go into the draft. Let’s see what the future holds.”

Along with Mehtab, Sandesh Jhingan will also be joining the draft pool this season.
