Ravi Shastri, who is on his first tour as the head coach of India will surely look to maintain the team India’s good performance in Tests as they take on Sri Lanka at Galle in their first match. Shastri on Monday tweeted: “Back to business with a great bunch #TeamIndia #SLvIND”

The veteran batsman’s response surprised the cricket fans as the appointment of Shastri as the head coach was something which was all over the news and it was quite shocking that Pieterson was unaware of the same. Though it is still unclear that whether Pieterson’s question was a genuine one or an attempt to indulge in some typical English banter, cricket fans decided to have fun and replied hilariously to Kevin Pieterson’s post.
Shastri earlier said about the team, “They know their job. They are professional cricketers. Once they step on the field they take over. That is how it should be. My role will be to get the guys to express themselves and play a fearless brand of cricket.”
He also mentioned that they will not commit the mistake of taking Sri Lanka as a light team especially at their home and will look to improve their performance.
