Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Banglore took on each other in match number 27th in Mumbai on 16th April. As Delhi is searching for their second successive win whereas Banglore is searching for a win after losing against Chennai Super Kings.

After the last match of Delhi, their batting lineup, as well as their bowling squad, is looking very powerful making them win matches and reach above in the points table. With the amazing performance with the bat Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, and Rishabh Pant are making a huge impact while chasing runs or putting a big total on the board. Whereas their bowlers Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, and Shardul Thakur are making it difficult for the opponent’s team to either chase runs or to put up high scores on the board.

Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first. As RCB started to bat with some frequent falls of wickets of the big and experienced players of the team Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli it seemed like they are in trouble and won’t be able to make a great total. As the middle order came to bat the fifty by the two great players Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Kartik and a quick knock by Shahbaz Ahmed made the team achieve a great total of 189 for the fall of 5 wickets and gave their bowlers a good total to defend.

So it was time for the Capitals to chase down the total to register their second victory. David Warner fifty gave them a great start to achieve a total of 189 runs. As few overs went well for them the Challenger’s bowlers made it difficult for them to score runs and gave them break throws by taking 3 frequent wickets making it difficult for them to chase the score. The captain Rishabh Pant gave a good fight back by hitting some great shots but Mohammed Siraj and Josh Hazelwood made it impossible for them to chase the total as Josh took the two most crucial wickets of Rishabh and Shardul and made it away to victory by 16 runs.

As the match ended Dinesh Kartik, RCB won the Man Of The Match award. It was an excellent win for Banglore. They fought well in the field, showed a lot of intensity and dedication, and the execution of their plan was brilliant by their bowlers. They have ticked a lot of boxes this evening and would be happy with their outcome.
