The Dutchman again managed to prove himself at the street circuit of Jeddah this season. Due to a drone attack that happened on the first day near the track, the drivers were really holding onto their nerves. Thankfully, with the God’s grace, everything went well and now, we have a clear winner.

To begin with, it was the Redbull’s Max Verstappen who won the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix followed by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. from Scuderia Ferrari. The competition between Max and Charles was intense. However, it was the 47th lap when the former guy managed to get past the Ferrari driver.

Sergio Perez was leading the pack till the 16th Lap but soon, his team called him to box so as to change those mediums for the harder compound. At the time when the Mexican driver exited the pit, Williams’s Nicolas Latifi crashed on the walls and soon after that incident, a Virtual Safety Car VSC)  followed by a Safety Car was deployed. During this phase, Carlos Sainz, who was exiting the pit lane faced an illegal push from the Mexican driver. A few moments later, Sergio Perez was told to give the position back and he did exactly the same to avoid any further penalties.

So, after Perez, it was Mercedes’ George Russel who managed to grab the fifth position. After him, Alpine’s Ocon, McLaren’s Norris, Alpha Tauri’s Gasly, Kevin Magnussen and Lewis Hamilton also managed to bag some scores for their respective teams.

It’s been a while since the viewers of Formula 1 witnessed some serious racing between the teammates. To be precise, Ocon and Alonso managed to entertain until one of the cars had to retire due to power failure. Other drivers including Daniel Ricciardo and Valtteri Bottas faced similar issues and sadly, both of them were out of the race soon after.

For your information, Mick Schumacher (Haas) and Yuki Tsunoda (Alpha Tauri) were out even before the race started.

Hope we get to witness such intense rivalry soon at the 5.279kms long Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit. The event is going to take place between 8th to 10th April and to be precise, is also home to the Australian driver, Daniel Ricciardo who currently drives for McLaren.
