Aston Martin F1 Team has confirmed that Sebastian Vettel will not be able to take part in the upcoming race this week. The German driver was tested positive for COVID-19 just before the Bahrain Grand Prix 2022 and as per the sources, a negative report was still awaited until the team decided to go with Nico Hulkenberg.

If you remember, Hulkenberg even raced for Aston Martin in the opening race held in Bahrain alongside his teammate, Lance Stroll. Sadly, both AMR22 drivers failed to score that they might be targeting this week at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The team also confirmed that Vettel will return to the track for the Australian Grand Prix 2022. But before that, they want him to recover fully as the expectations are high from both the drivers this time. As scheduled, the event about to happen in Australia will take place between April 8th to 10th.

For the first time, Hulkenberg will be racing in Jeddah. Since it is known as the fastest circuit, the veteran is going to experience something incredible.

The first practice session is going to take place today at 7:30 PM (IST), followed by Practice 2 at 10:30 PM (IST). For tomorrow, the third practice session will start at 7:30 PM while the Qualifying starts at 10:30 PM (IST). The final race will take place on 27th March at 10:30 PM (IST).
