Indian Legends vs. the Rest of the World.

For the first time in Indian cricket history, India will witness a match between Indian Legends and the Rest of the World.

This match will be played on September 16, 2022, at Eden Garden, Kolkata.

To celebrate India’s 75th year of independence, this match is scheduled.

First, this match was going to take place on the 22nd of August but was postponed due to international cricket fixtures.

The squads have been announced by the respective teams.

This is going to be a historic match, as many legendary players are going to be a part of it.

The BCCI president and former Indian skipper, Sourav Ganguly, will lead Team India.

The rest of the World Team will be led by Eion Morgan, the former England Captain.

The match is going to be a T-20 match, which is most likely to start at 7 PM IST.

The Indian legends squad:

Sourav Ganguly (c), Virendra Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Subramaniam Badrinath, Parthiv Patel (wk), S. Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, Stuart Binny, Naman Ojha (wk), Pragyan Ojha, Ashoke Dinda, Ajay Jadeja, RP Singh, Joginder Sharma, and Reetinder Singh Lodhi.

Rest of the World:

Eion Morgan (c), Lendl Simmons, Daniel Vettori, Jacques Kallis, Shane Watson, Matt Prior (wk), Jonty Rhodes, Nathan McCullum, Muttiah Muralitharan, Hamilton Masakadza, Dale Steyn, Mashrafe Mortaza, Mitchell Johnson, Asghar Afghan, Brett Lee, Kevin O’Brien, Denesh Ramdin (wk).

It will also be the inaugural game before the Legends League Cricket Season 2 kicks off.

Sony Sports Network is the official broadcasting channel for this league. Hence, it will also broadcast the India Legends vs. Rest of the World match.
