Pro Kabaddi League is all set to start from 1st August. This season, four new teams are included in the tournament which clearly indicates that the popularity of this sports is getting bigger and bigger in the country. This season of Pro Kabaddi League is scheduled to go on for three months.

On Wednesday in a press conference, one of the new teams in the league, Gujarat Fortune Giants launched its official jersey and are ready to make their debut this season. India’s star wrestler Geeta Phogat was also present at the moment. Praising the player’s practice and infrastructure, she said, “I have seen the players practising and I am impressed by the way they are playing. They are getting professional training and proper infrastructure which is equally important.”

The team is owned by Adani Wilmar and Pranav Adani is its managing director. At the launch, Pranav said, “We have young players in our team, which is a plus, as this game is all about energy. All the players in our team are from diverse backgrounds.”

The team will be led by Sukesh Hedge who feels that the two Iranian players in the team will contribute to a strong defence and they are working hard as they aim to win each game. Coach Manpreet Singh said, “We are the only team to have an international physiotherapist, who is the best. The players are going through an eight-hour session starting 6 am. We are confident of lifting the title.”
