NEW DELHI: Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya who was in a controversy over a statement which he said in a show, Coffee With Karan which is hosted by the Famous FIlm Producer Karan Johar has been overthrown in front of the BCCI Ombudsman, DK Jain.
Speaking to IANS (INDO ASIAN NEWS SERVICE ), a senior board member believes that the report for the following incident will be submitted to the Supreme Court Appointed Commission of Administration before the national selectors come together for the selection in upcoming World Cup squad.
Hardik Pandya Who wrote an apology letter to BCCI and said, ” I made an appearance in a chat show where I have made a certain statement without realizing that these could be disrespectful and offend sensitivities of viewers for which I am sincerely regretful. I would like to assure you that there was no malice or any sort of ill-intent on my part to offend anyone”
Hardik Pandya also Mentioned that all statements came out from his mouth in the flow and he had not intended to harm any person with his comments.
KL Rahul who also entered with Hardik in the show said that” At the outset, I extend my unconditional heartfelt apology for this extremely unfortunate incident. I’m extremely ashamed and embarrassed since this has caused such disgrace and embarrassment to both, the BCCI and sport of cricket.
He also assured that this kind of behavior will not happen again in the future and his actions and things will be done under a limit. As a public Personality representative of India and BCCI across the globe, he will take proper care of it.
As both, the players will face each other at Wankhede stadium on Saturday, it is difficult to say whether they will able to take participation or not.
