India and Australia were set to face each other ahead of the World Cup.

Before the World Cup, both teams were trying to fix up the remaining issues and be ready for the tournament.

India is the world’s number one team, whereas Australia is currently the world champion.

It was a match that one should never miss—a match filled with thrillers and great batting performances.

Match Details

Australia, winning the toss, opted to bowl first.

India’s opening pair, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, came out to bat.

Both teams started off well, with great shots and boundaries, when Rohit lost his wicket.

Even after losing Rohit, KL persisted, as India received their second breakthrough in the form of Virat Kohli.

KL, with Suryakumar, took forward the innings as he completed his half-century and was seen in good form.

SKY also joined him, and he also hit some massive sixes when he lost his wicket.

Hardik took over from them as he delivered the best knock of his career.

He scored 71 runs in just 30 deliveries. including five sixes and seven fours.

He ended the game in style as he hit three consecutive sixes and made India achieve a huge total of 208/6.

Aussies Innings

The Australian batsmen arrived fully prepared from the dugout.

The way they opened the innings didn’t make it feel like any total would be far away.

Cameron Green smashed the India bowlers all over the ground for boundaries.

His knock of 61 runs brought the game closer to them when Axar Patel took his wicket.

Later in the 14th over, two wickets were taken by Umesh Yadav, which brought India back into the game.

As when Bhuvenshwar had 16 valuable runs in the 19th over, where we almost lost the match.

Bhuvenshwar and Harshal Patel together gave 101 runs in eight overs.

India surely needs to work on their bowling game in order to succeed in the World Cup.

In the end, Cameron Green was the Player of the Match.
