Hardik Pandya is all set for his homecoming in the upcoming IPL season.

Hardik Himanshu Pandya is an Indian cricketer who was born on October 11, 1993.

He was born in Choryasi, which is a district near Surat, Gujarat.

His father used to run a car finance business in Surat, but he later moved to Vadodara to provide better cricket training facilities to his sons.

He has been playing domestic cricket for the Baroda cricket team since 2013.

Hardik showed great performance in the domestic format, as he also helped Baroda win several trophies.

Mumbai Indians kept an eye on him for his domestic performances.

IPL Debut

After his outstanding performances in domestic cricket, he was noticed by Mumbai.

In the auction of 2015, Mumbai Indians bought him at the base price of Rs 10 lakh.

Since then, his journey started as he debuted in front of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.

It was a must-win match for Mumbai to secure a spot in the play-offs.

The knock by him of 61 runs in 31 balls made Mumbai win the match.

From there on, he has always been an important player in the Mumbai team.

He has been consistently giving great performances in the IPL.

The salary of Hardik reached 11 crores from 10 lakhs as he also started to play for the Indian team.

In the 2021 mega auctions, Mumbai released him and he took the captaincy of the Gujarat Titans from there.

He made the Gujarat Titans win their debut IPL trophy, and in the next season of 2023, he made them reach the finals.

After a wait of two years in the finals, he has been transferred back to the Mumbai Indians.

The current salary for Hardik is 15 crore, as now in this season he will again represent Mumbai.

International Debut

Through his great performance in the IPL, he got selected for the Indian team.

He played his debut match on January 27th, 2016 against Australia.

In the same year, he debuted in the ODI against New Zealand on October 16th, 2016.

His test debut came on July 26th, 2017, against Sri Lanka.

Hardik has been an amazing all-rounder since then and has always been an asset to the Indian team.

Through his performances and hard work, he got the position of vice-captain of India.

He might also become the next captain of the Indian team.

In this season of the IPL, Hardik will be again seen in the jersey of Mumbai Indians.
