Harsh Goenka, industrialist and brother of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rising Pune Supergiant owner Sanjeev Goenka, earlier this year during the IPL was criticised by Dhoni fans due to his controversial tweets regarding Dhoni. He is one man who is not afraid to express his views on social media. Despite being a cause of anger for Dhoni fans, he does not seem to have learnt a lesson and now has targeted the Indian skipper Kohli.
Virat Kohli had been declared the captain of the Indian team in all the three formats of the game earlier this year when Dhoni announced his retirement from captaincy. But soon he developed differences between him and coach Anil Kumble. And recently Anil Kumble has resigned due to his relations with Kohli.
While BCCI has invited application for the job of the coach, Goenka targeting Kohli posted a sarcastic tweet, mapping out the roles and responsibilities of a coach in Indian cricket team, which he lists as: “organise travel schedule, fix hotel rooms,” and “be obedient to BCCI and Indian cricket captain”.
Goenka before this has also been in the talks when he made Smith the captain of Rising Pune Supergiants instead of Dhoni. And not only this, his way of praising Smith did not impress the Dhoni fans much.
