Harshit Rana and Yashasvi Jaiswal make their debut in the ODI format for India.
Yashasvi has played T20Is and Tests for the India team for some time. He finally got a chance to make his debut in the ODI format against England on February 6, 2025.
Meanwhile, Harshit Rana made his debut against England in the T20I series.
And just after that, he got a chance to debut for India in the ODI series.
England is on a tour of India before the Champions Trophy starts on 19th February.
India won the T20I series 4-1, and in the last match, Abhishek Sharma also scored an outstanding century.

After the T20I series, the ODI series began on February 6, when the first match was played in Nagpur.
England won the toss and elected to bat first.
England Innings
Phil Salt and Ben Duckett opened the innings for the English team.
They both started great and were hitting great shots from the start.
Phil was looking unstoppable as he got run out and brought a break in the partnership.
In the next over, the debutant Harshit Rana took Ben and Harry’s wickets.
Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell handled the innings in between as they also completed their half-centuries.
Axar Patel broke their partnership, and then the Indian bowlers started to take frequent wickets.
In the end, they took all their wickets at a total of 248 runs.
Harshit Rana and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each.
India Innings
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for India.
They both soon lost their wickets as Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer handled the innings from there.
Iyer hit a powerful half-century but got out, and Axar Patel came in to bat.
Shubman went on to complete his half-century and kept on going as Axar also completed his half-century.
In the end, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja hit the winning runs as India won the first ODI match.
