Bangladesh was on a tour of Pakistan, which consisted of two test matches.
The first test match was from August 21st–25th.
Bangladesh performed outstandingly and won the match by ten wickets.

The second test match was in Rawalpindi from August 30th to September 3rd.
Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Pakistan First Innings
Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub opened the innings for Pakistan.
Taskin Ahmed in the first over bowled Abdullah.
Shan came in to bat as he and Saim formed a stable partnership.
They both completed their half-centuries as Shan lost his wicket to Mehidy.
Mehidy soon took the wicket of Saim as well.
Salman in between played a knock of 54 runs as Pakistan made a total of 274 runs.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz took a haul of five wickets.
Bangladesh First Innings
Shadman Islam and Zakir Hasan opened the Innings for Bangladesh.
The opening batsmen couldn’t give a good start as they started to lose wickets.
Litton Das and Mehidy in the end handled the Innings.
They both completed their half-centuries, as Litton also completed his century.
With their knocks, Bangladesh was able to put up a total of 262 runs.
Khurram Shahzad took a haul of five wickets, and in total, he took six wickets.
Pakistan Second Innings
Abdullah and Saim weren’t able to give their team a great start.
Even the opening batsmen were not able to stand long in front of Bangladesh’s bowling.
Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha in between played short knocks.
With the help of this Pakistan made a total of 172 runs.
Hasan Mahmud took a haul of five wickets.
Bangladesh Second Innings
Zakir and Shadman gave a stable start to their team, as they needed 185 runs to win the match.
The top-order batsmen were all coming and playing short knocks.
With the help of this Bangladesh chased the total and won the second match as well.
This is the first time in the history of Bangladesh cricket that they won a test series against Pakistan.
