Finally, all the wishes of Indian and Pakistani fans have come true. Everyone was praying for an India Pakistan final, so that they can witness biggest final of the decade. And all this is now happening in real on 18th June. India in their semi-final match thrashed Bangladesh and registered a 9 wicket win over the opponents. Pakistan had already entered in the finals by defeating England on their home ground.

India won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked an early wicket of Soumya Sarkar(0 off 2) at a score of 1 and Ravendra Jadeja gave the second break by taking the wicket of Sabbir Rahman(19 off 21) at 31. Tamim Iqbal(70 off 82) and Mushfiqr Rahim(62 off 85) then understood the situation and played smartly without taking any risks. This partnership could have been lethal in the later stage of the game for India and it was becoming necessary to break it. Then in the 28th over, Kedar Jadhav took an important wicket of Tamim Iqbal and breaking the partnership, followed by the wickets of Shakib Al Hassan(15 off 23) and Mushfiqr Rahim by Ravendra Jadeja and Kedar Jadhav respectively. Bangladesh set a target of 265 runs for India. Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Jasprit Bumrah and Kedar Jadhav took 2 wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja took 1.

The Indian openers set an 87 runs partnership for the first wicket. Mashrafe Mortaza took the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan in the 15th over but from then, there was no looking back for Indian side. Rohit Sharma played an excellent knock of 123 runs to become the man of thr match. Virat kohli scored 96 runs of 78 balls, hence winning the semi-final in 41st over.

India will now play against Pakistan in the finals, a dream final for spectators.
