ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Full Schedule, Teams, and Venues Revealed.

The ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy is set to take place in 2025, co-hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Originally launched as the ICC Knockout Trophy in 1998, the tournament was rebranded as the ICC Champions Trophy in 2002. South Africa won the inaugural edition in 1998, followed by New Zealand in the next edition. The 2002 trophy was shared by India and Sri Lanka due to a rain-affected final. In 2004, the West Indies claimed the title, while Australia emerged victorious in the next two consecutive tournaments. India secured the trophy again in 2013, and Pakistan triumphed in the most recent edition in 2017.

This year, a major dispute arose when India refused to travel to Pakistan for the tournament. As a result, India’s matches were shifted to Dubai.
