ICC Inducts New Legends into Hall of Fame—A Celebration of Cricketing Greatness.

The ICC Hall of Fame honors the achievements of cricket legends who have left their mark on the game.

The cricketers who have become legends and have etched their names in history—this award recognizes them.

The first ever ICC award was introduced in 2009, in which there were 55 players included, and after that, every year new players are added.

This year the seven inductees are MS Dhoni, Matthew Hayden, Daniel Vettori, Hashim Amla, Sarah Taylor, Graeme Smith, and Sana Mir.

MS Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former Indian captain and one of the most renowned cricketers, becomes the eleventh Indian to be introduced in the Hall of Fame.

Known for his calmness and great wicket-keeping skills, he took the Indian team to new heights.

He led India to win the ICC T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup, Champions Trophy, and also the Test Mace.

Matthew Hayden

The left-handed Australian batsman and bowler who has spent over a decade playing for the Australian team has been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

He has been one of the finest openers that Australian cricket ever witnessed and contributed heavily to the golden era of Australia.

Hashim Amla

The South African batsman is known for his calm and composed batting skills.

He was the first South African batsman to score a triple century, against England.

He was a top-class batsman and has now been awarded the ICC Hall of Fame award.

Graeme Smith

The former captain of South Africa led the team towards new heights.

He was an opening-order batsman and an even better captain. He felt pride in being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Daniel Vettori

The left-arm spin bowler and middle-order batter Daniel joins the ICC Hall of Fame.

He was a great player and also an excellent captain who took the Black Caps into the finals of the 2009 Champions Trophy.

Sana Mir

Sana Mir becomes the first-ever Pakistani woman to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

She was an outstanding bowler, taking over 200 wickets, and has now been finally recognized and awarded.

Sarah Taylor

The former English wicket-keeper batsman Sarah joins the Hall of Fame following a 14-year international career.

She played a major role in England winning the double ICC Cricket World Cup and ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
