SOUTH AFRICA: Just like all the other teams, South African Board also named the 15 Men squad for the upcoming mega event the Cricket World Cup.

There were not so many shockings in the squad. Hashim Amla who has been struggling for his form from 2018, has been named in the squad. He scored only three half-centuries and a hundred since February 2018. It has been a matter of concern for South Africa that their premium and most experienced Batsman is out of form.

They went 2 specialist spinners and 2 All-rounders. Moreover, Quinton De Kock who is currently playing in IPL has been in tremendous form for the Proteas. In the last 5 matches ODI home-series, he scored 353 runs with an average of 70.60. He will be the lone permanent wicketkeeper of the team.

Faf Du Plessis will lead the side. They also added Anrich Nortije, who has been struggling from an injury. But the board believes he will be okay till the time World Cup begins.

Rassie Van Der Dussen, who has been in great touch, from the time he debuted earlier this year against Pakistan. He averaged around 88 in his short career of 9 matches. South Africa will be hoping some great performances from him.

The Number 5 and 6 slot will be handled by the experienced duo of Miller-Duminy, who is doing this for South Africa over many years.

Reeza Hendricks, who struggled for his form against Sri Lanka got excluded from the squad. While Pretorius got his chance instead of Willam Mulder.

The fast bowling department will boost up by Steyn and Rabada. Lungi Ngidi, who impressed everyone with his bowling ability, will be on the spotlight.
