Indian Squad
The Indian team will be led by Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul will be the Vice Captain.
The Indian team will have the following batsman:
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda.
Wicketkeepers:
Dinesh Kartik, Rishabh Pant.
All Rounders:
Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin.
Bowlers:
Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvenshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, and Arshdeep Singh.
Standby Players:
Mohd. Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Chahar.
Jasprit Bumrah was suffering from a back injury, because of which he wasn’t able to take part in the Asia Cup.
He has undergone an intense rehabilitation program, and the BCCI medical team has given him the tick for the World Cup.
Harshal Patel has returned to the starting lineup after being sidelined with a side strain.
Ravindra Jadeja is ruled out of the squad due to a knee injury, which is a great loss for the Indian team.
Axar Patel has replaced Ravindra Jadeja in the team.
The World Cup will start on October 16, 2022, and India will play its first match against Pakistan on October 23rd.

Apart from the squad, MPL Sports, who is the official kit partner, announced that they will launch a new jersey ahead of the T-20 World Cup.

India’s old sky-blue jersey is likely to be back for the World Cup.
