The Indian team created history as they became the second team in the World to be at the number one position in all formats.

India is currently number one in all the formats.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, they created history.

India was in the first position in the World in the T-20I and ODI.

They attained the first position beforehand only as they were in the second position in test matches.

T-20I Rankings

India hasn’t reached the T-20I World Cup finals since 2014.

But still, due to their consistency, they have been ranked first in Twenty20 internationals since February 2022.

India surpassed England which is in the second position in T-20I ranking with 266 points.

Whereas, India has a total of 267 points one more than England.

ODI Rankings

The India team is showcasing their talent in every series they are playing.

New Zealand came on a tour of India earlier this year.

There were three ODI matches to be played between them.

They cleanly swept them and won the series by 3-0.

By doing this they were placed at the first position in the ODI rankings as well.

Now, they stands in the first position in the ODI ranking with a total of 114 points.

In the second position is Australia with 112 points.

Test Rankings

India was in second place in the test rankings.

Australian tour of India is going on which contains four test matches and then ODI matches as well.

The first test match was played in Nagpur from February 9th-11th.

The Indian team performed mind-blowing in that test match.

They won the match by an Innings and 132 runs.

After winning the test match they topped the list of test rankings as well.

They attained the top spot in the test matches Rankings as well.

They surpassed Australia by getting 114 points to top the table.

However, to remain in the top position they need to win the second test as well which is going on in Delhi.

They created history to become the first in all the formats.

Before India, only South Africa Men were able to do this on August 28, 2012.
