India Champions lifts the trophy for the first edition of the World Championships of Legends.

The first edition of the World Championships of Legends will be played in England.

In total, six nations participated in the League of Legends.

Australia, Pakistan, the West Indies, India, South Africa, and England championships.

The league started on July 3rd, and the final was played on July 13th.

The Indian champions started the league by winning the first two matches.

After that, they lost the last three games of the league stage.

Despite losing the matches they managed to get into the semi-finals, by having a better NRR than South Africa.

In the semi-finals, the Indian champions won an incredible victory against the Australian champions.

With the win, they entered the finals and will play against the Pakistan Champions.

Match Details

The finals of the World Championship of Legends were played on July 13th.

The match was between India Champions and Pakistan Champions.

Pakistan, after winning the toss, elected to bat first.

Pakistan Champions Innings

Kamran Akmal and Sharjeel Khan opened the innings for them.

In the second over, Anureet Singh took the wicket of Sharjeel.

Sohaib came in to bat as he and Kamran started to hit boundaries.

Vinay Kumar didn’t let them settle, as he took the wicket of Sharjeel.

With the knocks from the opening pair, they got an amazing start.

But after that, the comeback by the Indian bowlers stopped them at a total of 156/6.

India Champions Innings

Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu opened the innings for India.

They got an amazing start for the Indian team as Robin and Suresh lost their wickets.

Gurkeerat and Ambati handled the innings and formed a short and effective partnership.

Ambati completed his half-century as he lost his wicket to Saeed.

The firing knock by Yusuf Pathan of 30 in 16 brought India close to victory.

Yuvraj and Irfan took India Champions to win the Innagural title of the World Championships of Legends.
