With the latest series win against England, Indian Cricket Team has gained one spot in the latest ICC T2o rankings. The latest rankings show team India at 2nd place behind New Zealand. At the same time, Indian captain in all formats, Virat Kohli retained his spot at the top of batsmen ranking in T20.

Virat Kohli is 28 points ahead of Aaron Finch who is on the second spot. Third place on the list has another Australian, Glenn Maxwell. Virat Kohli, at the moment, features in top 5 of all 3 formats, making him the only Indian currently. He is places on 2nd spot in tests and 3rd spot in ODIs.

Jasprit Bumrah is another Indian in top 5 of ICC T20 rankings. He is places at 2nd in T20 Bowlers rankings and his team mate R Ashwin is at 8 and Ashish Nehra is at 24th position.

Other players who gained big from the series concluded yesterday include England’s star batsman Joe Root and Indian Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Root ended the series with 126 runs and he jumped 2 places to be on 5th. Yuzvendra Chahal, who took 6 for 25 in the last game, gained a whooping 92 places and is placed at 86th position currently.

Another Indian who gained from the series is KL Rahul, who jumped 15 places and is currently on 15th position.
