India outshines England as they win the ODI series by 3-0.

Right before the ICC Champions Trophy, India showcases dominance against England.

The India team started to showcase great intent from the start as they won the first match.

In the second match, Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, marked his comeback with an outstanding century.

Match Details

The third ODI was played in Ahmedabad on February 12th, 2025.

England won the toss and elected to field first.

India Innings

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill opened the innings for India.

They weren’t able to give the team a great start, as Rohit lost his wicket in the second over.

Virat Kohli came in to bat he and Shubman formed an outstanding partnership and both completed their half-centuries as well.

Adil Rashid broke their partnership when he took Virat’s wicket.

Shreyas Iyer came in to bat and also started to form a partnership with Gill. Gill completed his century, and Shreyas completed his half-century.

Adil Rashid once again broke their partnership as he took the wicket of Gill and soon took the wicket of Iyer.

KL Rahul then came into bat and played a short innings as wickets started to fall in short intervals of time.

India soon lost all their wickets at a total of 356 runs.

Adil Rashid took four wickets, and Mark Wood took two wickets.

England Innings

Phil Salt and Ben Duckett opened the innings for England.

They both started great, but Arshdeep didn’t let them go for long, and he took the wicket of Ben, and then in his next over, he took the wicket of Phil.

After that, Tom and Joe handled the innings for a while but weren’t able to convert it for long.

Kuldeep Yadav took the wicket of Tom, and soon Axar Patel took the wicket of Joe.

Then, wickets started to fall in quick intervals of time as the England team lost all their wickets at a total of just 214 runs.

Arshdeep, Harshit, Axar, and Hardik took two wickets each.

India won the match by 142 runs and won the series by 3-0.
