India vs. Australia
India started great by scoring the first goal in the 12th minute.
And they didn’t stay back, as they scored another goal in the very next minute.
They pushed back the mighty Australia from the start.
Australia tried to come back as they scored two goals in the 25th and 55th minutes.
India didn’t lose hope, as they scored the third goal in a penalty stroke.
After that, they didn’t let Australia come back into the game, as they won by 3-2.
It was the long-awaited revenge of 52 years, as India won for the first time against Australia since the 1972 Summer Games.
With this win, they made it to the quarterfinals and will be facing Great Britain on August 4th.
