The start of India’s cricketing season 2020 was spoilt by an untimely rain which arrived after India had won the toss and elected to field in Guwahati on Sunday. However, with no such rain predictions in Indore, we are set to see a thrilling game of T20 Cricket.

He has a stellar record in white ball cricket, however, with age and form being on KL Rahul’s side, he has a tough competition for the role of Rohit Sharma’s partner in upcoming T20 World Cup.
Virat Kohli (India) – India’s captain in all 3 formats, Virat Kohli has had a great 2019. He ended the year with number 1 ranking in test and ODI. Also, he currently has the best average in T20Is and is just 1 run short of becoming the highest run scorer in the shortest format at international level. The ever-consistent skipper will yet again be in focus as India starts their year and the decade.
Jasprit Bumrah (India) – Just like Dhawan, Bumrah is also making a comeback after 4 months and he will be roaring to make an impact and start the year on a high. Jasprit Bumrah has been superheading the Indian pace attack in all 3 formats and the stakes on his return are high.
Lashith Malinga (Sri Lanka) – Sri Lankan skipper is currently the highest wicket taker in T20 internationals with 106 wickets. With experience on his side, he can turn any T20 game around. India will need to find a way to tackle him in order to win the match.
Kusal Parera (Sri Lanka) – In a rather inexperienced Sri Lankan batting lineup, Kusal Parera will look to provide some stability and build the inning. For a while, he has been holding the dual role of anchoring the batting as well as wicket keeping.
