India’s tour of New Zealand consists of three T-20Is and three ODIs.

The first T-20I between both teams vanished due to heavy rain.

The second T-20I was the most memorable for Suryakumar Yadav as he scored his second T-20I hundred.

He became the second Indian to score two T-20I hundred in a calendar year.

The outstanding performance of Suryakumar and the great bowling figures made India win the game.

The third match was to be played on November 22nd at Napier.

Match Details

The third match started at noon according to Indian time.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first.

New Zealand Innings

Finn Allen and Devon Conway opened the innings for New Zealand.

Arshdeep Singh didn’t let the openers settle down as he took the wicket of Allen.

Devon’s great knocks were adding valuable runs to the total.

The batsmen were performing well as they were able to put up a total of 130 by 15 over itself.

The Indian bowlers marked a valuable comeback in the game from the next over.

They started to take back-to-back wickets and didn’t let them score more runs.

NZ’s score was 130/3 by the end of the 15th over as they lost their remaining seven wickets before the end of the 20th over.

The bowlers took seven wickets and gave only 30 runs as NZ got all out at the score of 160 runs.

Arshdeep Singh and Mohammad Siraj took four wickets each and stopped the NZ batsmen.

India Innings

Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant opened the innings for India.

They both gave a good start to team India when Ishan lost his wicket to Milne.

In the next over Tim Southee took two back-to-back wickets.

Hardik Pandya tried to add some runs to the total.

While the innings were going on it was interrupted by heavy rainfall.

Everyone waited for the rain to stop but it didn’t.

With the help of the D/L method, the match was declared to be tied.

Mohammad Siraj was chosen as the Player of the Match for his bowling figures of 4/17.

Suryakumar Yadav became the Player of the Series for scoring 124 runs.
