Hockey World League Semi-Final is to be held in London and India will have their match against Scotland. India will seek victory in their first match to get a winning start in the league. Their next match will be against Canada on 17th June against which they drew a match in Rio Olympics.

Although ace dragflicker Rupinder Pal Singh being out of the team due to minor injury and also SK Uthappa will not be playing due to family emergency, the responsibility comes on the young shoulders of Harmanpreet Singh. Sumit has been called in the team as a replacement for Uthappa, while Rupinder Pal Singh has been replaced by Jasjit Singh Kular.
India’s big match will be on 18th June against Pakistan, where the opponent is a bit unpredictable. after that, they will play against Netherlands which is current World no.4 team on 20th June.
